EMETchurch Beliefs & Tenants...
1. We believe in the Teachings of Jesus the Nazarene.
2. We DO NOT believe that the "church" of Jesus the Nazarene; is denominational. Jesus only confessed the Kingdom of God...
Therefore, we do not practice be of a man made denomination.
3. We believe in the "universal" church, which is the only ONE, TRUE church, of Jesus the Nazarene, without walls and denominational divide.
The "universal" church being; The Kingdom of God.
4. We believe that "people" are the church, and NOT bricks and mortar; or organizations.
5. We believe Jesus the Nazarene to be the living God, God in flesh, whom died upon a cross for the sins of ALL men. John 8:58 & John 10:30
6. Eternal Life is given to us freely, by accepting Jesus the Nazarene into our hearts and lives, and knowing he shed his blood for us the sinners.
7. We do NOT have elders, deacons or other leadership, other than, the head of the Church, which is Jesus the Nazarene.
8. We believe that if Jesus is the head of the church, all things work to the good, without further leadership; rather, respecting each other, and each others gifts
into ministry.
9. We believe in the words of the bible, the true life of Jesus the Nazarene.
10. We do NOT believe in the tenants of denominational religion, that are not rooted in The Bible.
11. We DO NOT accept the government mark 501 c 3.
12. We believe the 501 c 3 government mark, restrains our religious tenant and beliefs.
13. We do NOT believe that our ministers must under go, denominational theology, to do and practice the teachings of Jesus the Nazarene.
14. We believe it is our sole purpose in life, to share the life and teachings of Jesus the Nazarene, to the entire world and to all whom will listen.
15. We believe ALL people are created equal and should be treated equal.
16. We believe in loving ALL people, regardless of their sin or sinful ways, all are welcome, as Jesus the Nazarene would also do.
17. We believe in speaking against ALL sin and government evil, as Jesus the Nazarene would also do.
18. We do NOT believe in humbling ourselves before evil, whether such evil is of man or government.
19. We believe in fighting for the poor and oppressed. As Jesus the Nazarene would seek us to do.
20. We believe our religious tenants, should exist openly and intertwined within our worldly businesses and business decisions.
21. We do NOT believe in building worldly places of worship, (brick and mortar) because Jesus the Nazarene did NOT build such lavish temples.
22. We believe we are a "church" and established by Jesus the Nazarene, with the right to worship as we believe, equally to assemble
and teach our tenants to ALL the world.
23. "Christianity" is a denominational man made religion. If asked what denomination we are:
Our reply is to be: Followers to the teachings of Jesus the Nazarene... We do NOT follow denominational protocols; only those of The Kingdom of God...
24. Jesus the Nazarene did NOT speak that his teachings were to be called Baptist, Catholic, etc. Nor, did Jesus the Nazarene state to his
disciples to name his teachings Baptist, Catholic, etc. Nor, did Jesus the Nazarene speak that he be called Messiah, or Christ...
Therefore, we DO NOT believe HIS church, should be of a denominational divide, as denominations divide HIS true church. His "church"
being his "people". 1: Corinthians 12: 12 - States the Church is one, and the head of such church, is Christ...
Christ was NOT denominational, nor would he ever claim to be, so why would we on earth, do any different?
25. We believe that life starts before a person's birth: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5, NIV).
26. We believe abortion is murder in the eyes of God, and is not acceptable and is sin and we should speak against those people and governments that
believe it is acceptable: "As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear" 1 Timothy 5:20
Proverbs 31:8-9 (NIV) “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”
27. It is our belief, we should pay taxes. Romans 13: 6-7 Peter writes, "That is why you pay taxes, because the authorities are working for God when they
fulfill their duties, pay, them, what you owe them, pay your taxes, and show respect and honor for them all." In Matthew 17: 24-27 St. Peter was asked,
Does your teacher pay tax. Peter's answer, "of course", referring to Jesus... So if Jesus himself paid taxes, and found no wrong in paying tax, we also
should follow his way and pay our taxes, if any are due.
